I’m asking you to consider that your energy decisions will affect your house’s livability more than color choices, and those energy decisions are difficult to revisit and alter after the house is built. Make yourself smart enough to be a nuisance, or until your builder gets the idea that small, not-so-expensive changes in his/her typical methods are necessary to make you happy with the energy performance of your new house.
